When searching for a picture about data safety I realized that most people are probably most scared of their data or accounts being hacked. However, I believe that data safety is more about putting your data in safe places than someone accessing it. As it is about 100% sure that one day your hard disk will reach it’s end of life and will stop functioning, where hacking is certainly a threat, but I guess most people or businesses will never be confronted with it.

So my service is about keeping your data safe by putting it in more places, so if something goes wrong with your computer or with your smartphone, the data, or a backup of your data, will still be available.

So yes, my initial scan certainly includes something like virus scan. But to me much more important is creating copies of your data and set up programs for back up of your data.

Data safety.

An initial scan and setup would consist of the following:

  • basic computer check, like hardware, operating system, etc.;
  • disk check;
  • virus scan (install virus scanner if needed);
  • disk space check;
  • setup Dropbox;
  • setup Degoo (optional);
  • create local backup of files (if enough disk space);
  • create backup on flash drive (if files fit on 8Gb flash drive).

Of course we guarantee the confidentiality of your data.
