DegooDegoo is a computer backup service that I encountered a few years ago. And I liked the idea of them where they use unused disk space of client computers to store backups of other clients. And this may sound scary, like your computer data is stored on computers of random other Degoo users, but I am pretty sure everything is encrypted, so you can never read anything of anybody else on your own computer.

You may also be scared that the disk space Degoo uses on your computer would affect your available disk space and computer speed, but in 2019 most computers have more space than any user could ever need, as to me a 500Gb hard disk is already an enormous amount of data storage, unless you store a lot of high quality videos on your computer. I am pretty sure most people use less than 100Gb of that 500 Gb, so there would be plenty of backup space available for other users.

By the way, you can sign up for Degoo using below link (click on the image):

100 GB Free Backup

And with that you also help me getting extra backup space.

More important though, by installing Degoo you can easily backup data on your computer to the Degoo cloud space so it will be available when anything happens to your computer (or smartphone).

More later, but I wanted to get started with this page.
